It’s FRIDAY! FRIYAY! This week I have some exciting news to share…

We got a new kitty cat!! We named her Chloe.  We rescued he from the animal shelter last weekend.  She cried the whole way home (with tears… never seen a cat cry tears).  She is estimated to be about 3 years old (although I think she is older). She has been a sweet little kitty so far. She is a Russian Blue Mix.

She likes nap time and cuddles. She purrs all of the time.   We are slowly introducing her to the house. We’ve been enjoying our little kitty friend so far. Her pretty green eyes glow. She is napping next to me right now.

These Ugg Boots.…I want to talk about these Ugg boots I got for Christmas. At first I was a little unsure, as I didn’t want to be one of “those girls” wearing Ugg boots. But then I put them on and my feet were hugged with the softness I immediately understood why people wear them all of the time.  I have been wearing them nonstop since I got them. I haven’t worn mine outside, they are a about-the-house shoe for me, but seriously. Once you put them on you won’t want to take them off!

This candle. It was a splurge I used with my Nordstrom notes. I’ve always wanted to try this candle company. It’s by”Diptyque”, a company in Paris. The fragrance I purchased is one of their top sellers called “baies”. This scent has the freshness of roses and the smell of blackcurrant leaves. It is really nice and refreshing. It’s not just any type of rose, it uses Bulgarian roses which of course are more luxurious and have a fruity scent.   It smells so nice. Just opening the box up produces an aroma in the room.

This French Townhouse. You HAVE to see this beautiful townhouse. The story is on Cote de Texas’ blog.

Here is a pic of the outside of this complex. It’s designed to look like a Parisian city block. Isn’t it darling?

Look below! It really does look like a little slice of Paris -but with better plumbing and air conditioning! Sign me up! You really need to go check it out. The condo is decorated with fabulous French antiques. Here is the link again.  Pics are from that blog post.

I've never seen a cat cry tears either! She is such a gorgeous cat! And that townhouse is gorgeous too! I have just plain black short Uggs and they are hideous (yours are way cuter!) BUT they are really cozy! I wear them to take my dogs out if it's not super wet outside or to check the mail and do stuff like that! (Or if I'm being really scrubby I may wear them to the grocery store. ha!)

I swore I wouldn't wear my uggs outside… but I have a feeling one of these days I'll bewaring them to the grocery store too!

Oh, Chloe is beautiful! I'm so glad she has found her forever home with you. I am new to your blog and am enjoying it very much. Those Uggs look really comfy! I have a pair of Sketcher Go Walk booties that I'm loving right now. I do wear them outside–they have the sole for that–and they are like wearing bedroom slippers. Enjoy those boots!

Thanks for stopping by and checking out my blog! My little Chloe Cat is cat napping up a storm (during the storm) today. Perfect little companion for blogging!! Those booties sound really comfy… slippers but shoes for outside!

thank you! I think she's pretty cute too. Although every time I take a picture her ears go back like she's looking mad on purpose!

    Angelina,

Truly, our cats could be sisters! (only mine doesn't purr alot and no one here likes her but me!)

And as for Uggs, like you, I held out for YEARS! Finally got a pair two years ago, and when it's cold, there is nothing like them!! I do wear them on casual, go-nowhere cold days and I don't mind it a bit:)

My car has been doing less purring as time goes on, wahh! I had the ugg slippers for years I only wore at home but I just love love love these boots. Soooo soft!

I've always wondered how those Ugg boots feel. I see people wearing them often. I stopped in a store today and saw them for sale. They are pricey! It would probably be better if I waited till the end of the season. Yours are a pretty style that are a bit shorter than the ones I saw. I love scented candles. I'll have to check that one out! I wish I could smell it through the computer. Love your sweet new kitty! It looks like she's very relaxed now and no longer nervous about leaving her last home.

Yes, I agree they are pricey! Mine were a gift so free is a very good price. But I am sure there are some that go on sale at the end of the season – keep your eyes out as they are just so very soft. I am loving my new kitty too, she is a friendly little thing.

    Hello Angelina,

Chloe is gorgeous. How that she's found a safe and loving home. Poor baby. I have never heard of a cat having real tears. God knows what she went through before you found her.

That townhouse is spectacular. I love the classic furnishings. Very sophisticated and chic.

I gave seen that brand of candles before but found them a bit pricey. Are they worth it?

    Have a wonderful week.

Initially I had intended to get a kitten from a breeder but then I went onto petfinder.com and found this cat… went to the shelter and walked out with her in my hands!

The candles ARE pricey – I got the cheapest size and was burning it today and it smells SO GOOD. I can't say how long it is going to last… I've burned mine for about 4 hours so far. Maybe I will do another review once I'm done. I can't say that they are totally worth spending a ton of money on since, after all, it is just a candle, but if you want a little splurge, then yeah… go for it.
