A Restored Georgian House

This week I am inspired by this beautiful restored Georgian house located in Somerset, England.

Purchased by designer Sophie Hale and husband Roland. Ptolemy Dean was responsible for the painstaking restoration, which won a Georgian Group award in 2015.  The article is from House and Garden.

The plasterwork on this staircase is fabulous! Love the painting too!

You know you’re in England because of all of the Wellies! Made me smile.

I like the house. All of the area rugs are beautiful. especially the blue one out side of the dinning room. The bath is a little different…unusual. I too was surprised by the lake.
