The Witch is Home in her Halloween Mudroom!
She is a fashionista, wearing fancy booties and an elegant hat.
As you can see I don’t have a lot of Halloween decor. It is mainly Fall decor with a few Halloween touches. I have owned the Jack O Lantern vase for a decade.
I shopped my closet for the remaining Halloween items. These suede boots with pearl heels seemed like something a chic witch would wear! The witch hat I owned from previous costumes.

The witch had just gone shopping for a new wand at Ollivander’s Wand Shop. I had saved the bag from our trip to Universal Studios’ Wizarding World of Harry Potter. I save tons of shopping bags and this is why – I reuse them for various things!
My husband was outside when I was putting this photoshoot together – he looked inside for a second and saw me wandering around the house with my witch hat. He had a puzzled look on his face. I just continued on pretending like everything was normal in this haunted house!
Your Halloween decor doesn’t have to be expensive or specifically themed. You can take your Fall decor and throw in a few Halloween touches – instant Halloween! It doesn’t have to be “classic” Halloween with skeletons and bats… just some black lace and witch hat or a masquerade mask will do too!
