My Current Everyday Makeup Routine

It’s been a while since I shared some of my current favorite beauty products.   Today I’m going to be sharing what I use as part of my current everyday makeup routine.

FACE

I start with a daily facial sunscreen.   I recently started using LA Roche-Posay SPF 50 face sunscreen and I love how light it is. It does not make my face feel oily.  I read tons of reviews and so far I love it.  It comes in a tinted version too, if you would prefer.  In the Summer, when I’m sporting more of a tan OR when my skin is very tired looking, I will apply Charlotte Tilbury’s Wonderglow Face Primer.  Instant beautiful glow is added!

Next, I apply under my eyes to hide the permanent dark circles, Nars Creamy Concealer.  It is the best concealer and tons of people rave about it. After that, I use Clinique’s pressed powder.  I don’t actually wear a ton of face make up… no foundation for me.  I let my freckles shine.

For blush, I use Nars blush in Orgasm, which is a great color that works on so many different people.  Now this is my daily makeup routine, but I’d say 3 or 4 days a week I’ll use the Nars Multiple stick in copacabana as a highlighter just at the top of my cheeks and frankly sometimes under my eyes if I have really dark circles (not too much though— otherwise it will start to look freakish!)

EYES

To keep my eye makeup from smudging and fading, first I apply Urban Decay’s eyeshadow primer potion.  I’ve used both original and below is the minor sin which has a slight sheen to it.

For eyeshadow, I have been using the Naked3 eyeshadow palette by Urban Decay.  So many beautiful colors. Then I use Clinique’s quickliner intense in Aubergine for eyeliner.  Next, I use Lancome’s Cils Booster mascara primer.  You put it on before your mascara and it makes your eyelashes look even more full and luscious!  I have been using Benefit Cosmetic’s They’re Real Mascara and love it.  It doesn’t flake and makes me eyelashes look great.  I would have thought it was waterproof given how well it stays on (it is not waterproof.)  Then, I finish with my eyebrows and simply brush them into place and they will stay with Mac’s Brow Set.

LIPS

For lips, I just use lip gloss. No lip liners or lipstick for me.  I was using NARS lip gloss but the color I was using was discontinued, so I just recently purchased Chanel’s and loooove it.  Well, I love them both.  But I’m officially hooked on Chanel – the color I use is 172 Tendresse.
