The Double Island Kitchen Trend

I have noticed as I peruse new (dream) kitchens that a trend that has emerged is the double island kitchen. It seems as though the second island is often used as replacement for the former breakfast nook and is used mainly for storage and seating.

This kitchen’s second island is actually a marble table.

Ok it seems The Fox Group is a huge fan of double islands as here is yet another one of their gorgeous kitchens!

Last one… my kitchen! Yes it has a double island. I don’t have a good pic of it with both the islands in it. I’d go shoot another one but that would require me to clean.
