There’s something about the way the Parisian women dress. The style is classic and can be dressed up or down – depending on what accessories you choose. It is a dressing style that I love – and try to emulate!
The thing is, it does not have to be expensive! It is just classic basics. A pair of good fitting jeans paired with a simple t-shirt. If the weather needs it, a black blazer or trench coat. You can’t go wrong with Breton striped sweater or shirt either. Shoes are kept simple – white sneakers, ballet flats, or espadrilles!
Accessorize with a scarf or belt – that’s where your pop of color can come in. The belt can be name brand or just a simple black belt too! The tote bag is perfect for toting around Paris. The Longchamp Le Pliage is classic and affordable. Their new knit bag is going to be the it bag this year, I can feel it.
Naturally you need to keep an air of mystery with big black sunglasses! They never go out of style!
Of course, you need to pair with your favorite perfume! I have many favorites. I love Diptyque’s Do Son for Spring in the daytime, and YSL Black Opium for evening.
