Are you all ready for this year’s house tour??  I had a lot of fun this year decorating for Easter.  I love the bright colors. This post may contain affiliate links.

The white bunny duo are placing Easter eggs in the hallway. I love my new standing bunny vase! (It’s now sold out – here’s a  similar bunny vase here! )The pink ranunculus look cute in his basket!

Mr. Swan in the dining room is carrying dried eucalyptus and ranunculus.

New addition this year is the little straw bunny! Isn’t he cute?

Behind him sits some antique hankies that I like with alabaster eggs sitting in the little holders.

Love this little floral egg sitting in a real egg shell.

The Easter dining table that I wrote about in this post.

In the hallway sits an alabaster egg tree and some chicks and lambs.

The bunny duo now with real daffodils in it! Love this new vase – can see myself playing with him year round!  You can get a similar bunny vase here! as mine is now sold out!!

In the breakfast nook I decorated the chandelier.  It has Easter eggs hanging down and a fun garland strung inside of it.

Love the Spring garland inside.  The little bunnies on the pink egg cart is an ornament I found at Christmas… yep, kept it out from Christmas!!

Below the Easter chandelier sit faux-chocolate rabbits. I sometimes psych myself into thinking I’ve left real chocolate bunnies sitting in the sunshine.  Also, my mom made these cute cocktail napkins!

Aren’t the designs on the napkins super duper cute??? Her fancy sewing machine did it!

She told me some of the designs had 36 different colors in them! wow!

The Spring bread bowl centerpiece is sitting in the kitchen…

The tulipiere is full of tulips and daffodils!

A closer look at one of the little bud vases I hauled from Paris. It’s from Astier de Villate!

Springtime blogging! The flowers and candle smell wonderful!  This is how I’m blogging today, I do admit I don’t always have fresh flowers and a cappuccino when blogging, but today is special.  It’s nice to make ordinary things (like blogging) special sometimes, isn’t it?

Easter Home Tour

I hope you all enjoyed my Easter Home Tour this year! I’ll be sad to pack it up as I don’t decorate the whole house for any other holidays until Fall!

I changed the decorations in my antique dough bowl!  I just love this dough bowl as it is so much fun to decorate.  I had fun putting together this little Easter vignette using my little Steiff mohair bunnies and friends.

Decorating using an antique dough bowl

The little animals are peeking out from the tall grass.  There are hidden Easter eggs if you look closely!

I used Spanish moss as the base and then poked holes in it to stand up the faux grass.  Every angle that you look at this dough bowl there is a little different scene for you to see!

A last look from up above!  Love looking at my little bunnies.

I just love decorating for Easter!  After a boring colorless Winter after Christmas, pulling out Easter decorations is so much fun!  The bright colors are so cheery, how can  you not smile when you see them?

This year’s Easter table has three little bunny rabbits featured as the centerpiece.  I love these plates from Pottery Barn– they come in several colors and are really pretty and colorful!  The napkins are from William Sonoma – you can’t tell in the picture but they are a pretty blue rabbit toile. I have the matching tablecloth too but… I was too lazy to pull it out.

I just love these little rabbit egg carriers. We found this cute little egg flower at a local antique store – it is actually sitting in a real egg shell! It is so delicate!

The plates are so fun – pinks, blues, greens, yellows.  I have a rabbit salt and pepper shaker from Pottery Barn. The little silver rabbit is actually a place card holder!

My mom found this other cute salt and pepper shaker – the rabbit is the salt and the carrot is the pepper! You can get it here.

These napkin rings are so cute! A little bunny sitting in some lettuce! You can get them here.

One last look at these silly little rabbits…

Chocolate Easter Eggs: in France!

In the US, the Easter bunny rules the chocolate shops.  But in France, the focus is on anything but: hens, playing with the egg shape, cows, sheep, pigs, and fish.  I am sharing some of the very cute creations I found online.  They are too cute to eat! (although I’m sure that wouldn’t stop most of us!)

I think the one below is my favorite…

Although I really love this little egg shaped elephant…

Aren’t these cuter than our foiled Easter bunny??

Which one is your favorite?

Pictures are not my own.

I have been busy decorating for Easter.  After Christmas, Easter is my next favorite holiday. Actually, besides Christmas and general Fall decor, it’s the only holiday I decorate the house for.

The chocolate bunnies sit in the kitchen.

The buffet table is decorated with mainly my Steiff Easter collection.

I got the bunny in the center below last year… isn’t she the cutest??  The little chick sits in a porcelain egg below.

I tried to purchase tulips for the tulipiere, however Costco wasn’t selling any.  So… I decided to put Easter eggs in it.  I think it’s kind of fun.

I am pretty excited about my Easter table this year.  Not a whole lot has changed, but I just love the bunny rabbits!

The little bunnies pulling the wagon are pulling Easter eggs and are a new addition this year from Pottery Barn….

This year I put a white paper lace “charger” under the green bunny plates.

I also have little robin’s eggs nests scattered about on the table too.

I love this table we put together for Easter this year.

My mother picked up these cute napkin rings from William’s Sonoma. They are adorable! An Easter egg sits on top each napkin.

I placed the alabaster egg tree on the table. I love all of the color it brings!

Used some beautiful antique napkins.  The plates are from the Victoria & Albert museum. Some vintage German rabbits in the back ground.

Little Steiff animals sit on the table with some fresh daffodils my husband gave us both.

On the other side of the table is the Easter egg ornament tree.

I like this carrot ornament in front of the rabbit!

One last look!

Thanks for stopping by!  Have a Happy Easter!

Easter Decor Ideas

I love decorating for Easter.  Maybe it’s because I love bunny rabbits and little lambs.  I also love the pastel colors, especially the pinks and greens.

Let’s have a look!

At the center of my Easter decor are my faux-chocolate rabbits.  I have slowly been picking up these chocolate rabbits across the country. The big one is from the Midwest, the little one on the right from the Northwest, and the egg one from Southern California.

I love the big one especially, imagine if it were really made of chocolate! Also love the pink and green little egg on the left, you can hide things in it!

I’ve been on the faux-chocolate Easter egg hunt for years.  The one below is my newest faux-chocolate Easter rabbit/egg this year. I’ve never seen one like it, so I knew I had to take it home with me the second I saw it!

how cute

Last year in my Easter basket sat this darling thing, a Steiff chick in a porcelain egg!  She imitates the little chick in the egg in the picture behind her!

I found this vintage Spring hanky at an estate sale and just had to include it.  It’s actually a 3D type hanky, as some of the tulip petals actually flip open in real life!

My other little Steiff bunnies sit in front of their chocolate companion.  As you can tell, I collect little Steiff Easter animals.

My vintage Easter scenes…

My little lamb collection sits on another table. All mohair, all Steiff. Their stuff is cuter than all the other stuffed little lambs in my opinion.

I just love the le lapin pitcher full of lavender from the garden! (really, our garden!).

The far left has little vintage chick scenes… they didn’t photograph well in the light.

I loved setting up this table for Easter.  Pink and green are my favorite colors, especially together, and this table has a nice blend of both!

Now, behold!

I found these little nests at one of my favorite stores, Roger’s Gardens.

These little Easter bunny salt and pepper shakers I found at Pottery Barn a few years ago. Aren’t they cute?

This was my first Easter bunny purchase, from Pottery Barn, almost 7 years ago!  I added a pretty pink ribbon to her neck.

The plates are by Bordallo Pinheiro.  There are two types of rabbit plates and a chicken plate. Hand me downs from my mom… her china cabinet was too full! Score for me!

Oooh, looks great with my new drapes!

I kept the pink mercury glass candles leftover from my Valentine’s Day tablescape.  I was setting out the Springtime stuff and putting the Valentine stuff away… and discovered that they looked good together!
