It’s that time of year – the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale! I have been shopping the sale with my mom since I was little – so there is DECADES of Nordstrom experience behind this post.
I have narrowed down my TOP 10 picks for you in the post. It is so easy to get carried away and swept up in the feeling of shopping and getting a good bargain. However, it is only a bargain if you actually use the item.
MY TOP 10 PICKS
#1 – Nordstrom CZ earring studs. These are a great buy and look just like real diamonds. I have several pairs in different metals and carat sizes. They have lasted YEARS. If you haven’t purchased any, I *highly* suggest them.
#2 – Varley Half Zip Sweater – I love this sweater! I own it in a different color. The sweater does have holes in it, so it is more of a transitional sweater or better for Winters in warmer climates.
#3 – Barbour jacket – I particularly love this Barbour jacket, but I do love waxed cotton jacket. If this is out of the budget, I think this jacket looks very similar to Barbour and it’s under $100.
#4 – Longchamp Le Foulonne purse – cute, chic purse! There is another similar bag featured in the sale by another French brand called Maison de Sabre. It has other color ways too. I would consider this bag or the Longchamp one!
#5 – Dr. Dennis Gross Redlight Mask – this is a great buy (and a splurge) if you are looking for a red light mask. I have this one (a different version but it’s pretty much the same) and I love it .
#6 – Salt & Stone body wash – this body wash smells so luxurious. I bought this at last year’s sale and still have half a bottle left.
#7 – Striped sweater – this is very versatile AND it is made of cotton.
#8 – Farm Rio Skirt – I love Farm Rio skirts and plan to purchase it this year.
#9 – Arizona Big Buckle Sandals by Birkenstock – very comfy, I love mine and they are a great price!
#10 Loafers – Loafers are all the rage for fall, particularly in suede. This looks like a nice quality pair.
BONUS NICHE ITEMS
#11- STROLLERS AND CAR SEATS! If you are looking at purchasing a Uppa Baby Vista V3 stroller or Nuna Rava car seat, you should be aware that they never go on sale…. except at the Nordstrom Sale. Shop all of the UppaBaby products here and the Nuna products here.
#12 – LUGGAGE. I know lots of people talk about Beis, Away, etc. but I am a Tumi girl through and through. I know they are pricey, but they are worth it. I can speak for the quality myself. This is the international size. The Other piece of luggage I recommend is the Stokke BedBox. It is perfect for young children. They can ride on it through the airport. It then folds out into a bed so they can sleep on the airplane!

You can shop at midnight eastern time.
If something is sold out, leave a different size in your cart and check back – it will likely come back in stock.
Jeans are a great buy. I’m not going to recommend a pair since it’s so difficult trying to find a pair that works for everyone.
Beauty products are also a great buy. I do caution you if you’ve never tried the product before. If you find out you don’t like it, then you’ve really wasted your money on a jumbo size. Try to stick with tried and true products for you.
